    • Openings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a travel contract serving the Stockton, CA area.Details
      • Home health setting serving geriatric patients in the Stockton area, with potential coverage of surrounding counties
      • Case types include general home health, wound care, and geriatric home health
      • Minimum of 23-24 patient visits per week
      • Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (5x8)
      • No weekends required
      • On-call is discretionary and not required
      • Charting is done using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be completed on-site and cannot be taken home
      • Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first to last patient visit (does not include commute to or from home)
      • Free residential parking availableRequirements
        • Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as a PT required
        • Current, valid state PT license required (pending licenses are not accepted); license required if applicable
        • Current BLS certification required
        • No active hits on license
        • Must be able to work independently as a self-starter in a home health environmentAdditional Information
          • Contract length is 4-6 months; clinicians with less experience are required to commit to a 6-month contract, which is non-negotiable
          • Compliance onboarding may take 2-3 weeks; all required documents must be in place before patient care can begin
          • A facility-provided tablet is used for on-site charting
          • Any color scrubs and closed-toe shoes are required
          • COVID vaccination is required; religious declinations are accepted. Flu vaccination declination is accepted with a signed declination form
          • Candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility are accepted as locals
          • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
          • All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made
          • 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
