We are seeking a board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity near Torrance, CA. This is a great chance to provide coverage for a medical leave while enjoying a flexible work schedule.

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: April 1, 2025
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Practice Setting: Outpatient only; no inpatient responsibilities
• EMR System: Epic
• Support Staff: Collaborative team including RNs, MAs, and PAs/NPs

• Patients Per Shift: Average of 23
• No Call or Rounding Required: Focus solely on outpatient care
• Certifications Required:
  • BLS
  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Skills Needed:
  • Routine and high-risk pregnancy management
  • OB ultrasounds (Level I/II)
  • C-sections and VBACs
  • Office gynecology procedures (e.g., IUD insertion, cystoscopy, colposcopy)
  • Surgical gynecology including laparoscopic procedures
  • Endometrial biopsies, hysteroscopy, and polyp removals

• Holidays Observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
• Insurance: Provided by the vendor
• Travel and Lodging: Support available for non-local candidates
• Credentialing Timeframe: Quick turnaround to get you started
