Financial Controller (Oil & Gas / Property)

- Manage and direct the full accounting and finance function supporting oil & gas operations, including revenue accounting, JIB, production accounting, LOE tracking, and multi‑entity financials.
- Produce reports that summarize and forecast company financial performance, including income, expenses, earnings, production volumes, and field‑level results.
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership on continuous process improvement and ad hoc financial needs.
- Drive efficiency and reliability in core reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis utilizing Excel and Yardi.
- Oversee local and state tax filings related to oil & gas activity (property tax, sales/use tax, production/severance tax where applicable).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 7 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably within upstream or midstream oil & gas.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and oil & gas accounting principles (revenue, JIB, production, LOE, DD&A).
- Ability to perform complex calculations for bookkeeping, budgeting, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
