Expected Salary: ~$65,000 (limited flexibility for the right candidate)
Location: On-site 5 days a week

What will the Academic Technology Coordinator do?

  • Take ownership of the school’s Learning Management System (Canvas), including faculty support and adoption
  • Partner with academic leadership and teaching faculty on instructional technology strategy
  • Gradually introduce and support classroom technologies (projectors, Apple TVs, instructional tools)
  • Serve as a technology generalist, stepping into various support areas as needed
  • Assist with the Student Information System (SIS), transitioning ownership over time
  • Provide day‑to‑day technology support in a fast‑paced academic environment
  • Make thoughtful recommendations for new tools and improvements aligned with the school’s culture

What the company needs in an Academic Technology Coordinator:

  • Experience supporting or administering a Learning Management System (Canvas strongly preferred)
  • Comfort working closely with educators and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Hands‑on experience with classroom and instructional technologies
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing needs
  • Strong service mindset with patience and attention to user experience
  • Comfortable working in a busy, open office environment
  • Willingness to work fully on-site

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in K–12, higher education, or independent school environments
  • Exposure to competency‑based or progressive learning models
  • Interest in emerging educational technology, including AI in the classroom
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into practical classroom use
