Compensation: $120K to $150K + 15% Bonus
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite) | Minneapolis, MN
This is a high-impact Finance Manager opportunity supporting a large, operationally complex business within a well-established, highly respected organization.
This role sits at the intersection of finance and operations, offering strong visibility and influence across the business. You’ll partner directly with leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, while also leading and developing a small team.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities for an assigned business area
• Partner with business and finance leadership to support financial planning, performance tracking, and decision-making
• Manage and analyze both operating (O&M) and capital expenditures
• Provide variance analysis, financial insights, and actionable recommendations
• Support development of business plans and ensure alignment with financial objectives
• Oversee forecasting processes, assumptions, and timelines to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Partner cross-functionally to identify cost and revenue opportunities and develop action plans
• Monitor financial performance and key metrics, identifying risks and opportunities
• Support funding requests and capital planning processes
• Drive process improvements across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Lead, develop, and mentor a small team (2 direct reports)
• Balance hands-on work with review and delegation of team output
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, or related areas
• Prior leadership experience (1–2+ years managing or mentoring others)
• Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Background in mid-to-large company environments
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP or similar strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and cross-functional partnering skills
• Ability to operate both strategically and tactically (detail-oriented with big picture mindset)
Experience supporting operational or business-facing finance teams
• Experience working with capital planning or large-scale budgeting environments
• Exposure to tools such as Power BI or similar data visualization platforms
• Advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CPA, CFA)
