We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our manufacturing processes meet both internal and external quality standards. This role is critical to our commitment to producing high-quality products that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control systems and measures, and for driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a permanent position that requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement quality control systems and measures to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
2. Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
3. Utilize PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and control plans to ensure that all products meet quality, reliability, and durability standards.
4. Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify and address sources of quality issues.
5. Use statistical analysis and SPC (Statistical Process Control) techniques to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
6. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to design and implement process improvements, leveraging Lean Manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
7. Provide quality assurance support to the manufacturing team, including training on quality control procedures and standards.
8. Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Regularly report on quality metrics, issues, and improvements to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Engineer role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of quality control systems and measures, including experience with PPAP and control plans.
4. Proven experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Analysis, and SPC.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision making and process improvements.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams at all levels of the organization.
7. Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
8. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
9. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification is preferred.
10. Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
