As a Senior Software Engineer in the Radar Modeling and Simulation group, you will develop high performance C++ software. Your contributions will directly support radar modeling, scene modeling, signal construction, signal processing, and radar control processing components within simulation and digital twin environments. Your software will operate as part of a system of systems integrating with external components to enable high volume and high fidelity radar modeling and simulations. You will mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and collaborate with the technical lead and software and systems architects to deliver reliable solutions. Collaborate with the technical lead and software/systems architects to guide design and integration decisions while performing hands on C++ development. - Design, implement, and maintain high performance C++ software for radar modeling, scene modeling, signal construction and processing, and radar control processing components. - Participate in design and code reviews actively providing and receiving constructive feedback to foster a continuous improvement mindset and strengthen the quality of our products. - Lead other engineers in the process of translating customer needs into actionable Agile tasks and actively participate in sprint planning, story break downs, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives - Verify and interpret software changes, including regression testing, to ensure modifications produce intended system behavior. - Analyze system level data to build confidence before delivering solutions to customers and downstream teams - Maintain and improve legacy codebases by applying and promoting software engineering practices - Serve as a technical liaison with internal and external stakeholders - Support automation, regression testing, and tooling improvements Contribution to meaningful projects with real-world impact Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or related STEM degree with minimum 5 years related experience. - Experience with C++ or other strong object oriented programming experience (e.g. Java, C# or similar languages) - DoD security clearance at the SECRET level.
