Role Overview - Construction Project Manager (Michigan) We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead multiple data center projects for a major global technology client. This is a client-facing role requiring strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects across regions. You will also contribute to team mentorship, client relationship building, and business development initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring timely and effective delivery Build and maintain strong client relationships Review project plans, requirements, and specifications Support RFP preparation, contractor selection, and contract awards Develop and manage CPM schedules with contractors Identify risks, resource constraints, and opportunities Lead project meetings (including OAC) and track action items Review project progress, invoices, and contractor payments Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders Conduct feasibility studies, site reviews, and technical evaluations Support business development and contract negotiations Qualifications Required: 15+ years of construction/project management experience Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or related field Strong knowledge of construction, mechanical, and electrical systems Experience in pre-construction, contract management, and project delivery Proven client-facing experience Strong communication and reporting skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Preferred: PMP or CCM certification Experience in data center construction Master's degree in Construction Management or related field Earned Value Management knowledge Membership in PMI, CCMA, or similar Position Details Location: Michigan Full-time, salaried role Work authorization required (no visa sponsorship) Tools Microsoft Project Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 15+ years Bonus/Commission: No
