Join us as our next Raw Material Team Lead reporting to our Planning Manager for North America. You will oversee daily material planning activities for raw materials to make sure our product can be manufactured without interruption and supplied on time to our customers. You will ensure material availability upon production, minimize write-offs and optimize inventory levels. Partner with other departments to increase settings and process. You will functionally lead the Raw Material planning team and process and be a subject matter expert on raw material planning and related processes and act as mentor to other raw material planners

Salary expectation based on technical experience $84,000 - 115,000

Key Results areas
Plan/Schedule that is 100% executable and following productivity targets to meet production plan
Inventory levels meet company targets
Supply Chain Write-off levels meet budget
Service to customers meet all set targets
Review procurement requirements in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to ensure on time customer response times, raw material availability and minimal waste
Release purchase requisitions for raw materials following MOQ (minimum order quantities) and lead time to help on-time completion of manufacturing requirements. This includes meeting the SLAs established with GBS.
Develop an understanding of the replenishment systems and processes; train Raw Material Planners on processes
Be a mentor to raw material planners, and lead with a spirit of continuous improvement
Build constructive and effective relationships with key stakeholders and teams such as Finished Goods Planning, Quality, Receiving, Logistics, GBS Operational Buying, GBS Replenishment Planning, GBS Spot Buying and GBS Supply Planning.
Resolve or escalate supply issues working with internal stakeholders, supporting Raw Material Planners
Improve system and processes use, enhancing service to customers, Share best practice and ideas with the team; involve cross-functional teams to achieve the most efficient ways of working
Support cost reduction projects and improvement projects
Review slow moving and obsolete inventory and manage reserve projections
Follow Givaudan procedures, guidelines and best-practice on relevant areas including Safety; address and implement where missing
Support development of training programs, manuals and methods of implementation to assure stable and best practice execution of planning
Technical Skills
Working knowledge in planning. Experience with supply and preferably production and demand.
Agility and flexibility when solving issues.
Affinity to systems and analytical tools.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Working knowledge BI, BO, Google and SAP.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
5+ years experience in supply planning, supply chain or production planning.
Knowledge of Planning, Inventory Management and Supply Chain best practices.
Leadership experience in integrated Supply Chain.
