OverviewThis role is primarily responsible for assisting in the paint-line and assembly department. This position also may be required to assist other areas when needed. We have a 2nd Shift Paint Line/Assembly Line opening up in the near future and would train this person on 1st shift. Once 2nd shift is running, the hours would be M-F, 1:30pm-10pm.
Responsibilities- Helping to load/unload parts off of the paint-line
- Packaging all of the painted parts
- Masking parts
- Assembling parts
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds, bend, twist and transport product and materials short distances
- Basic understanding of computers and ability to perform computer functions as they pertain to the job
- Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team-environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Ability to work safely and without injury with hand tools in a an environment with metal and sharp objects
- Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
- Work in an efficient and timely manner.
- Demonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task
