RN - Registered Nurse - 1:1 School Nurse with Summer School

Ro Health is currently hiring qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our staff and work in public schools all around Orange County!

Now seeking RNs with High Acuity Experience. Minimum 1 year of Tracheostomy/Ventilator care.

Full time assignments looking for a committed nurse to support 1x1 through the end of the school year, potential to support with summer school, and return in the fall in good standing.

Position Details:

• Specialty: School Health, Pediatrics, Special Education
• Locations available include: Southern Orange County
• Positions Available: Full-time (30+hrs)
• Shift: May vary, approximately school hours, anywhere between 7:00am-4:00pm.
• Days: Monday through Friday, no holidays or weekends
• Target Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities may include:

• Working 1x1 with a patient that has one or more of the following (G-tube, trach, vent, catheter, diabetic, seizures)
• Distributing medication to student with a med pass
• Provide client care according to approved Plan of Care
• Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
• Comply with all documentation and record-keeping requirements
• Assist with lifting, transporting, diapering as needed
• Assist with ADLs
• Providing coverage during bussing transportation

Requirements:

• Active, California nursing license
• RN Experience
• MIN 1 yr Trach/Vent Experience
• Trach/Vent certified is a bonus!
• Passion for excellent pediatric patient care!

• Seizure disorder education
• Diastat administration
• Insulin injections and pumps
• Diabetic Management
• Medication Administration
• G-tube feedings
• Tracheostomy Care
