Construction Inspector

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Construction Inspector.
Position type: Full Time - Contract role
Duration: 24 Months
Location: San Antonio, TX
As a Construction Inspector, you will:

• Be serving as field liaison between contractors, within various areas of company, and customers as needed.
• Be ensuring contractors are working safely and with client Standards and Specifications, processes and procedures.
• Be ensuring contractors are following provided client designs and standards coordinating approved modifications as appropriate.
• Be attending and participate in preconstruction/planning, on-going construction status, and post-construction meetings.
• Be performing field investigations to follow up on work completed and respond to customer concerns.
• Be identifying, stopping and reporting any contractor safety infractions with client management and/or contract crew management.
• Be communicating with designers and other stakeholders regarding all changes made in the field.
• Be conducting inspections of Overhead Lines and planning, coordinating and tracking work assigned to contractors.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive experience in Overhead construction.
• Knowledge of client Overhead construction standards and safety guidelines.
• Experience in reading and interpreting construction designs.

• Experience in Overhead journeyman.
• Vegetation experience in Arboriculture or Horticulture.
• Bilingual
