Position Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Supervisor to provide leadership and oversight for cardiovascular service lines in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab. This role is responsible for managing both the clinical and administrative functions of the Cath Lab and related diagnostic areas, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective team performance.
The Cath Lab Supervisor may provide direct clinical care as needed and will play a key role in staffing, budgeting, and departmental operations.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Shift: Day Shift
- On-Call: None
- Setting: Hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for cardiovascular service lines, including Cath Lab operations
- Manage administrative and clinical functions of the Cath Lab, Stress Testing, and Echocardiography areas
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels and oversee labor and operational budgets
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety requirements
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality patient care services
- Hire, coach, discipline, and evaluate staff performance
- Provide hands-on clinical support in the Cath Lab as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient department operations
- Perform additional duties as required
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Acceptable clinical backgrounds include:
- Cath Lab Technologist
- Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)
Licensure & Certifications:
- Current and active license, certification, or registration required to practice in the state of Tennessee
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (current and active)
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
- RTR or ARRT certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
Compensation
- Competitive salary range: $68,000 - $100,000, based on experience and qualifications
