Our client, a leader in the financial services industry and located here in Columbus, Ohio, has retained our services to help them hire a Senior Accountant position. This position will be responsible for various responsibilities revolving around GAAP within the accounting department.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• The Senior Accountant is responsible for all functions within general accounting, journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Handle various analysis projects for P&L and balance sheet analysis
• Accrual support
• Perform other duties as directed

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT:

• 3+ years of proven accounting work
• Understanding of GAAP
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system is a plus
