Our client is a fast-growing provider of climate-controlled portable storage solutions, delivering convenient, secure, and innovative storage options for residential, commercial, and construction customers. The company specializes in on-site storage that protects materials from weather, humidity, and temperature fluctuations while improving jobsite efficiency and organization.

With continued expansion into new markets, our client is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Marketing Representative to support brand growth and generate new business opportunities in the Charlotte region.

Position Summary

The Marketing Representative is responsible for driving local market awareness, generating leads, and supporting sales growth through direct outreach, relationship building, and strategic marketing initiatives. This role combines elements of business development, field marketing, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads
  • Build and maintain relationships with key referral partners such as property managers, general contractors, restoration companies, and commercial facilities and construction firms
  • Conduct in-person visits, networking events, and presentations to promote services
  • Identify new business opportunities and support sales pipeline growth
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Assist with proposal development, client outreach, and follow-up communications
  • Track marketing activities, lead generation efforts, and campaign performance
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and community functions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the local market, competitors, and customer needs
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or business development (service-based or B2B preferred)
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage territory
  • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to present services confidently to clients and stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
Preferred Experience
  • Background in restoration, construction, logistics, or service-based industries
  • Experience with field marketing or outside sales
  • Familiarity with commercial accounts and long-term sales cycles
  • Veteran of the United States Military (preferred)
