Description & Details:
Tenure track position. Teach marketing-related courses for the Department of Management and Marketing. The normal teaching load is five three-credit courses with up to three preparations per year. Conduct and publish quality research. Provide service to the university and business community. This position is in the area of Marketing with primary interests in marketing strategy and/or international marketing. The position is based in Fargo, ND and includes teaching in-person and/or online classes.
Work Schedule:
9 month (8/16-5/15), 40 hours/week
Hiring Range:
$130,000+
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Ph.D./DBA in marketing/business or related disciplines. ABD candidates will be considered, with expectation of Ph.D./DBA completion by August 15 2027.
• Evidence of quality research potential.
• Evidence of quality teaching potential.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment
• Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with diverse colleagues and students
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ph.D./DBA in marketing/business from an AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited business school.
• Record of quality teaching relative to experience.
• An established research record relative to experience.
• Interest and ability to teach across multiple marketing areas.
