Apprenticeship Program: Business Administrator

TALKE USA is excited to offer an entry-level opportunity through our Apprenticeship Program for individuals interested in starting a career in business administration. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is new to the workforce, recently graduated high school, transitioning their career, and eager to learn.

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience supporting our team with office coordination, data entry, document management, and assisting with day-to-day administrative operations. This apprenticeship also provides rotational exposure across key business functions including procurement, human resources, finance, and analytics, giving participants a well-rounded understanding of business operations.

We will be considering applications for the Fall semester through June and for the Spring semester through November.

Job Tasks
  • Provide general administrative support to office staff and managers.
  • Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and preparing documents.
  • Support data entry, filing, and record-keeping tasks.
  • Help with internal communications and distributing company announcements.
  • Rotate through functions such as procurement, HR, finance, and analytics to learn core business processes.
  • Support purchasing, vendor communications, and supply tracking as needed.
  • Gain exposure to compliance, reporting, and business operations within a corporate setting.
  • Assist with special events and event planning including company meetings, employee engagement activities, and community events.
Qualification and Experience

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Experience: No previous experience required; full training provided.

Reside within the Lee College Baytown Campus district.

Skills: Basic computer knowledge (email, typing, Microsoft Office preferred). Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good communication and teamwork skills. Dependable and eager to develop new skills.

18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and legally able to work in the U.S., pass a drug screen, physical and background check.

Work Environment & Schedule

Full-time, hourly position (flexible hours around school).

Office-based role with computer work and phone communication.

Full training is provided as part of our Apprenticeship Program.

Earn a Certificate in Business through Lee College upon completion of the program.
