We are honored to partner with Geisinger, a nationally recognized, physician-led integrated health system, in the recruitment of its inaugural System Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging. This newly created leadership role reflects Geisinger's commitment to advancing cardiovascular imaging excellence, innovation, and academic impact across its multi-region system.

Reporting directly to the System Chief of Cardiology, the System Chief of Cardiovascular Imaging will provide strategic oversight and visionary leadership to imaging services across three regions, unifying clinical standards, driving innovation, and elevating research and education systemwide.

Role Overview

• 50-60% clinical practice, with protected time for administrative leadership and research
• Provide strategic leadership for all cardiovascular imaging modalities across the system
• Oversee and collaborate with regional imaging leaders
• Drive innovation, program development, quality advancement, and operational alignment
• Advance research, education, and academic productivity in cardiovascular imaging
• Partner with nationally recognized specialists to expand and elevate imaging capabilities

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a respected cardiovascular imaging expert with a passion for leadership, collaboration, and academic advancement.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Echocardiography
• Eligible for or able to obtain Pennsylvania medical licensure
• Demonstrated leadership experience in cardiovascular imaging
• Level III training preferred, including Structural TEE

Preferred Experience

• Track record of achievement in administration, research, and teaching
• Additional training or expertise in Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac CT, or Cardiac MRI
• Advanced degree in research, statistics, or public health highly desirable
