Position Title: Mechanical Engineer
Reporting to: PowerForce Sales Manager
Department: Engineering

JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanical Engineer will innovate and create products that support the growth of the Company and Engineering Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on Engineering design and Production
- Hands-on use of software for product design
- Support production in fabrication and machining, estimating & procurement
- Participation in product compliance (UL, ETL, etc.) activities
- Lead and manage regulatory testing programs to comply with UL/IEC standards
- Participates in design documentation reviews to ensure that the released designs comply with regulatory standards
- Develop projects from conceptual design to full manufacturing capability
- Promote and Develop Engine sales to other Manufacturers
- Develop ideas for new products to manufacture
- Acts as project manager for individual and larger project efforts

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited institution preferred
- 2+ years of hands-on testing experience with power products
- 3+yearsAutoCAD drafting experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Solid understanding of basic generator and electrical distribution principles
- Strong attention to details and diligent follow-through
- Ability to understand, embrace, and implement new technologies as they evolve
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- General sense of resiliency with a positive attitude
- Ability to work well with others from a variety of backgrounds
- Willing to put forth the honest effort in order to be successful
- Possess good, safe work habits in all environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Be able to give regular and predictable full-time attendance
