Our RVT and extremely knowledgeable experienced assistants are an amazing support team, and can help with all aspects of the position.


We are a 10 year old 2 dr hospital with full EMR records. Sound eklin digital rads with boarded radiologist review, full in house idexx laboratoey suite vet lab station, procyte, 2 catalyst DX, suite with coags, cornerstone, istat alinity, new companion cts duo litecure class iv cold laser , phovia blue light, digital dental rads, emphasis on pain management and palliative care. Bair huggers and wayer warming blankets are standard of care along with iv fluids and full vitals monitoring. We also use sevofluorane only, midazolam, propofol, alfaxalan etc.



We always offer gold standard workups and work with owners.


We have a boarded radiologist who does more advanced soft tissue or TPLO , and internal med specialist who does more advanced ultrasounds.


We also have a brand new GE versana premier ultrasound.


We are lucky to have a devoted clientele and to see many interesting cases. We also offer chenotherapy.


Role Description

This is a part time or full time on-site role for a veterinarian located in Suisun City, CA. The veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating animals' illnesses and injuries. The veterinarian will also perform surgeries, give vaccinations, perform dental work, and provide medical care for animals.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Licensure in the state of California and a DEA license for controlled substances
  • Experience with domestic species
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, colleagues, and staff
  • Ability to make ethical and logical decisions regarding animal care and treatment and thorough medical workups

  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in stressful or emergency situations
  • Our staff is very well trained and knowledgeable
  • Surgery/ dentistry are negotiable

.

Good sense of humor is a must



We offer a four day work week 9-6 with 1.5 hr lunch. Shifts are wed th sat and sunday if desired



Compensation $100,000 to $220,000 depending on shift coverage. .
