Work Schedule:

• Part time, up to 25 hours per week. Schedule varies
• Ice Cream Shop is open Monday through Sunday

A Day in the Life of an Ice Cream Shop Shift Leader:

• Provides direct monitoring of the shift flow.
• Helps carry out all customer service policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Immediately addresses all customer concerns in the absence of the manager.
• Monitor and communicates any concerns to Café Manager.
• Learns all menu items
• Practices food safety according to Agency and Health Department regulations.
• Keeps current and follows all local, state and federal guidelines and laws, and ensures a safe, clean worksite that meets all regulations.
• Assists manager in reviewing menus, ordering, and overseeing inventory control.
• Reviews the development of plans for production costs and waste reduction.
• Assists manager in the development of appealing displays.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
