Position: OR Tech - Surgical Tech

Salary Range: $1,344.00 - $1,728.00 per week (base gross), based on a 40-hour (5x8-hour) schedule; equivalent to $33.60 - $43.20 per hour.

Assignment length: 12 weeks

Shifts Available: Full Time - Variable

Responsibilities:

Join a high-performing surgiucal tech team.
Seeking an experienced Travel OR Tech for a 12-week assignment in a fast-paced perioperative/operating room setting.

• Prepares and organizes sterile supplies and instruments for assigned surgical procedures
• Maintains the sterile field throughout each case
• Assists the surgeon by anticipating needs and handing sterile instruments and supplies during procedures

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
2. Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with a minimum of 3 years experience (surgical setting preferred).
3. Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics).
4. Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.).
5. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

6. Minimum one (1) year of OR Tech experience required.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $33.60 to $43.20 per hour. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
