LifeBridge Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our regional healthcare organization in Maryland. In this flexible, as-needed role, you will provide high-quality evaluation and treatment services to patients with a wide range of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders across our continuum of care, which may include acute care, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Drawing on your clinical expertise and commitment to evidence-based practice, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and adjust interventions based on patient progress and evolving clinical needs. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN at LifeBridge Health, you will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, and case managers to ensure coordinated and compassionate care. You will educate patients and their families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, communication strategies, and safe swallowing techniques, supporting them in actively participating in the recovery process. You will document all evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record, following organizational and regulatory standards. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders, completion of required clinical training, state licensure or eligibility, and ASHA certification (or eligibility for CFY with appropriate supervision) are expected.
