Job Description

Meucci is seeking an organized, initiative-taker for the role of Operations & Project Assistant Intern. This person should have a strong professional acumen, eager to learn and be excited about STEM education, digital skills development and technology workforce development.

Furthermore, the selected intern should be prepared to propose a concept or interest area for a professional development output that they would like to achieve by the end of the internship. Upon approval, Meucci will provide the necessary resources and ongoing mentoring to help achieve the output.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge management systems
  • Proof-read and light editing of content for proposals, presentations and other project documents
  • Due diligence research to support business development, projects, strategic planning and other insight needs
  • Document/Presentation Formatting
  • Provide administrative support for trainings, project and events
  • Other administrative and project support duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Recent College graduate, or senior currently pursuing a 4-year degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Excellent Document Formatting Skills.
  • Previous relevant experience supporting social impact programming preferred.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Self-directed and output oriented
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Prepared to propose a professional development concept
  • Creative and innovative thinker who seeks challenges

Final candidates will be required to take a Microsoft Office and writing skills assessment

Salary: Competitive per hour rate

Benefits: This is a temporary internship position that does not qualify for benefits.

Working requirement: Onsite Office in Downtown Washington, DC. Dupont Circle and Farragut North Metro Accessible. This is NOT a remote position, hybrid and working from home flexibility is not allowed. Only local candidates will be considered. Please DO NOT respond if you are NOT locally based.
