Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Resource Specialist Teacher to join our Education, Training & E-Learning team within the Educational Services industry. In this role, you will provide specialized instructional and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them access the curriculum, build independence, and achieve meaningful academic and functional outcomes. Working closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families, you will design and deliver individualized learning experiences that reflect each student’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals. As a Resource Specialist Teacher, you will develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring that services, accommodations, and modifications are aligned with legal requirements and best practices in special education. You will conduct formal and informal assessments, analyze student data, and use evidence-based strategies to adapt instruction and interventions. Your work will include supporting students in both inclusive classrooms and small-group or one-on-one resource settings, using differentiated materials and assistive technology to maximize engagement and progress. Collaboration is central to this position. You will partner with general education staff to modify curriculum, co-plan lessons, and create an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners. You will communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, providing updates on student growth, sharing strategies for support at home, and fostering strong, respectful relationships. You will participate in IEP meetings, student study teams, and professional learning communities, contributing your expertise to a multidisciplinary approach focused on student success.
