Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Generalist

Location: Oregon

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract (05/11/2026 - 08/08/2026)

Shift Timings: Evening Shift 4x10-Hour (14:00 - 00:00)

Pay: $2,350/week

Job Description:

• Perform a wide range of laboratory testing across multiple departments including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood bank and microbiology.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation while ensuring accuracy and quality control of test results.
• Analyze patient samples and report findings in a timely manner to support clinical decision-making.
• Perform blood bank procedures including manual gel testing using Ortho systems.
• Handle microbiology tasks such as gram stains and rapid testing without plating.
• Maintain accurate documentation in LIS systems including EPIC/Beaker and Wellsky.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• ASCP Certification (Required) or AMT (MT-AMT) Certification
• Recent Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required
• Experience with listed instrumentation preferred
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and quality control
