Accounting Intern

Gillespie Group is hiring for an accounting intern! This is a part-time, in-person role at our Lansing, MI office.

Position begins July 1, 2026. Application review begins March 1, 2026.

Join our team and learn the accounting skills needed for real estate development and property management!

Some of the tasks you will learn and work on:

• Entering invoices into accounting software
• Assisting with the check run process
• Data entry and report creation
• Answering calls and responding to inquiries from internal and external customers
• Office coordination including filing, mailing
• Completing bank runs
• Assist the department with various ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• In college, working towards accounting degree
• Team player attitude
• Highly organized
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work 10 20 hours per week during normal business hours
