Position Summary

The Customer Account Associate is a key member of the Customer Account team, providing support to the Account Director/Senior Manager, Customer Account Managers (CAM), and/or Senior Customer Account Specialists (SCAS). The Associate ensures alignment with the team they support and oversees systems administration to ensure smooth team operations. This role is responsible for important tactical work that will drive efficiencies within the account team(s) and NGT.

Organization: Neighborhood Grocers Team (NGT is a dedicated Sales Team within Nestl USA that drives growth by partnering with a diverse network of neighborhood retailers and wholesalers across all NUSA Divisions) Team: C&S Customer Account Associate Division/Category Responsibilities: Wall to Wall, all Nestl USA Divisions/Categories Other: Position based in either the Arlington or Solon offices. Travel limited to team meetings or training Position Responsibilities

Customer Account Associate

  • Responsible for delivering support to help achieve annual sales targets, drive profitable sales, and share growth
  • Assist Team with item setup, including entering relevant data into forms and/or systems
  • Manage contract data entry and updates across portals, customer forms in support of all contract/contract changes in customer systems; confirm dates, lead times, and amounts, and review details with the Account Manager
  • Responsible for automated customer reports (forecast details report, C&S in-full report, C&S inventory details report, impaired scorecards, invoice by item report, and C&S 'All Items' in distribution list)
  • Responsible for tracking new item set ups, big bets, other ad hoc tracking & monitoring activities
  • Manage sample ordering process and track sample inventory
  • Organize team meetings and improve efficiency and support strategy for large-scale planning and joint business initiatives
  • Gather ad tracking via Numerator and compile digital product and ad images
  • Responsible for NRS communication & activities as guided by National Account Managers (sell sheets/booking sheets, etc.)
  • Attend internal business meetings & customer meetings (as opportunities arise).
  • Assist with Ad Hoc requests (planning session deck preparation)

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor's degree preferred, or 12 years of relevant work experience

Previous experience in an administrative or support role is preferred

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Familiarity with SharePoint and other collaboration tools is a plus

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management skills are essential

Knowledge of sales fundamentals: pricing, promotion, assortment, merchandising is preferred

The approximate target compensation range for this role is $60K to $75K. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
