Deputy Program Manager
Title: Program Manager
Client: U.S. Army
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Provides technical/management leadership for all PWS requirements.
Establishes goals and plans that meet project requirements.
Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.
Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.
Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.
Plans, initiates, and manages IT projects. Leads and guides the work of technical staff.
Serves as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
Plans project stages and assesses business implications for each stage.
Monitors progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.
May supervise others.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, IT, or business-related programs
Program Management Certification (PMP)
Minimum 10 years of work experience in managing IT programs
Working knowledge and experience managing technology, software, and IT infrastructure programs
Understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle) and hybrid cloud environments
Clearance: DoD Top Secret
