*Job Summary* We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic veterinary team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills in animal handling, veterinary procedures, and critical care will make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and their owners. *Duties* * Assist veterinarians with clinical procedures, including animal restraint, catheterization, and aseptic techniques to ensure safe and effective treatments. * Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures to aid in accurate diagnosis. * Conduct dental cleanings and familiarize yourself with dental terminology to support oral health treatments. * Handle animals during examinations, surgeries, and recovery processes with expertise in animal husbandry and pet care. * Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed. * Maintain detailed medical records, update patient files, and document treatments accurately. * Support pet grooming, dog training, and pet grooming activities to enhance overall animal well-being. *Requirements* * Valid license as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent certification with current licensure. * Proven experience working with animals in a veterinary setting, including veterinary technician experience. * Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and veterinary critical care practices. * Hands-on experience with animal restraint techniques, laboratory procedures, and aseptic techniques. * Ability to handle dogs confidently using dog handling skills and animal restraint techniques. * Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures related to pet dentistry. * Experience with X-ray operation and interpretation is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and educating pet owners about animal care needs.
