Key Responsibilities for the Purchasing Manager / Director of Administration Support:
Lead vendor management, including bid creation, evaluation, and vendor selection
Oversee purchasing operations across multiple facilities and departments
Manage high-volume purchasing relationships with major suppliers
Process and monitor purchase orders and invoices using AVID software
Ensure cost-effective, compliant, and accurate procurement practices
Escalate and resolve vendor or purchasing issues using sound business judgment
Qualifications for the Purchasing Manager / Director of Administration Support:
Bachelor’s degree required
Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or vendor management
Experience with purchase order and invoice processing systems
Demonstrated ability to manage both strategic and transactional work
Prior support of senior leadership in an operational or administrative role (preferred)
