Mechanical Engineer

Job Description Job Description Mechanical Engineer We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. Responsibilities: * Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines * Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments * Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies * Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload * Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams * Generate budgets * Interface with vendors * Create and maintain detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks. * Develop, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and purchasing * Collaborate with electrical engineering, manufacturing, and machine shop to support machine builds and resolve design issues Qualifications: * Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields * Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams * Familiarity with CAD or other related software Solidworks a must * Deadline and detail-oriented * Experience in conveyor design * Experience in heating/cooling systems About Radio Frequency Company Founded in 1946, Radio Frequency Company, Inc. is the world leader in high tech industrial RF process heating systems.
