About the Role

Our client, a publicly traded company with a history of earning respected industry accolades, is seeking a Senior Accountant who brings the precision, discipline, and business awareness often developed in audit. This role sits at the center of corporate finance, where you’ll apply strong technical accounting skills while partnering across the business to turn complex activity into clear insights that support informed leadership decisions and scalable growth.

What You’ll Own

• Execute the accurate and timely completion of the monthly close cycles, ensuring general ledger accuracy and proper classification of complex transactions while managing fixed asset activity and all critical balance sheet roll-forward schedules.
• Support audits and tax filings with clean schedules and documentation.
• Oversee the tracking and capitalization of major capital expenditures, ensuring timely cost tracking and proper recording for all investment projects.
• Partner with leadership on strategic financial planning, including the development of comprehensive annual budgets, continuous forecasting, and insightful variance analysis to measure performance against goals.
• Engineer smarter processes that scale cleanly and stand up to scrutiny.

What We’d Like

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
• Relevant accounting, audit, or and finance experience
• Deep theoretical and practical understanding of accounting methodologies
• Proficiency with integrated accounting platforms; advanced Excel proficiency
• Clear communicator with adaptability, initiative, and a proactive mindset
