Salary Range: $104,000–$124,800 DOE (prorated for part-time)

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant to join their accounting team on a part-time basis (15 hours per week). The Sr. Accountant will play a critical role in month‑end close, journal entries, and serving as backup support for the accounting team.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform and support the month‑end close process
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries (JE)
- Complete account reconciliations and research variances
- Serve as backup support for the accounting team to ensure continuity
- Support audits and special accounting projects as needed
- Partner cross‑functionally to maintain financial accuracy
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong month‑end close and journal entry experience
- Ability to act as backup for team members and step in as needed
- Highly detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communicator who works well in a mission‑focused setting
- Experience in a nonprofit or mission‑driven organization is a plus
