ABOUT THE ROLE
Aggregate Industries is looking for laborers to work on our road crews. We are looking for individuals to work either days or nights.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
- Maintain an effective system of communications with supervisors, drivers and crew, peers, operators, and customers serviced.
- Assist foremen with all tasks as needed, follow instructions and perform duties as assigned.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Ability to follow instructions, maintain good housekeeping around the site.
- Ability to work nights if required.
- Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER JOBS
- Other responsibilities as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- A minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of the road construction industry
- Highly motivated detail oriented, organized individual who is able to adapt to challenging tasks
- Innovative, cooperative, dependable and trust worthy
- Positive attitude, able to maintain a courteous and professional relationship with co-workers, customers and general public
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
