General Dentist (GP) - Elmira, NY
Our well-established private practice in Elmira, NY is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team at Chemung Family Dental. We have proudly served the community for over 30 years, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice with strong patient demand, modern technology, and a highly experienced team.
Schedule
- Monday - Wednesday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions using evidence-based practices
- Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures
- Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
- Uphold all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- DDS or DMD from an accredited program
- Active New York dental license
- Strong clinical and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
- Dental Sleep Medicine experience is a plus (training available)
Pay & Compensation
- Competitive compensation with strong earning potential
- Daily guarantee or 30% of collections (whichever is greater) for the first 6 months
- After 6 months:
- 30% of collections up to $50,000/month
- 35% of collections over $50,000/month
- $10,000 sign-on / relocation bonus
- $5,000 CE allowance + professional development support
- $3,000 malpractice and annual retention allowance
