URGENTLY HIRING: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) , AK Starting Salary: $20.00 - $28.50/hrFull-Time - Mon-Fri - Non-ExemptAbout the RolePromote the well-being of the patients at IMA by considering all aspects of patient care which encompasses the patient's physical, psychological, spiritual, social and educational needs. Interaction and coordination of efforts with other employees and physicians in a fast-paced medical office environment. ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & RoomingEscort patients to exam rooms Take and record vital signs (height, weight, etc.) Collect patient history and chief complaints Prepare charts, labs, and reports for providers Patient CommunicationAnswer and triage calls and messages Prioritize urgent vs. routine concerns Document patient information in the medical record Coordinate with providers and clinical staff Clinical & In-Office SupportAssist providers during exams and procedures Schedule appointments and follow-ups Provide patient education (medications, diet, etc.) Communicate with pharmacies and outside providers Administrative SupportMaintain accurate documentation Support scheduling and workflow needs Monitor patient flow and feedback Assist with Greenway Intergy EHR system RequirementsGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program within 1 year of employmentCurrent CMA/MA certification within 1 year of employmentCurrent CPR certification within 1 year of employment1+ year medical office experience (preferred) Strong medical terminology knowledge Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Strong communication skills Typing speed -60 WPM (preferred) EHR experience (Greenway Intergy preferred)BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) retirement plan options Continuing education support Career growth opportunities Why IMA?A team-focused, patient-centered practice that values professionalism, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Apply now or reach out to learn more-we are currently accepting applications.
