As they continue to strengthen their internal audit function, they are seeking a Senior Auditor to support a critical procurement audit on a short-term basis while awaiting the onboarding of a full-time team member.

Overview of the Senior Auditor (Procurement Audit) role:

• Execute procurement audit fieldwork based on an established audit plan
• Perform testing, sampling, and detailed documentation of audit procedures
• Review procurement transactions and evaluate internal controls
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas of process improvement
• Prepare clear and well-supported audit workpapers
• Assist in summarizing audit findings and supporting conclusions
• Work independently with minimal supervision to meet project deadlines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed throughout the audit process
• Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and methodologies
• Quickly ramp up and contribute as a plug-and-play team member

Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Auditor (Procurement Audit):

• 5+ years of internal or external audit experience
• Prior procurement audit experience is highly preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of audit testing, sampling, and documentation standards
• Proven ability to work independently and manage deliverables
• Experience working in fast-paced or high-demand environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or ERP systems preferred
• CPA, CIA, or similar certification is a plus
