A leading global law firm is seeking a mid-level Finance Associate with a passion for the media and entertainment industry to join its expanding Sports, Media & Entertainment practice. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and entertainment, advising on high-profile transactions involving some of the most recognizable assets in music, film, television, and sports.

You’ll be part of a cutting-edge team representing major studios, music companies, financial institutions, and private credit funds on innovative and complex financing structures.
What You’ll Do
- Advise lenders, borrowers, and investors on a wide range of debt financing transactions within the media and entertainment sector
- Structure, draft, and negotiate secured lending and structured finance agreements
- Work on financings involving music catalogs, film libraries, television content, and other media assets
- Support acquisition financings and portfolio transactions in the entertainment space
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams on bespoke, asset-backed and structured finance solutions
- Play a key role in deal execution from origination through closing
What They’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in debt finance, leveraged finance, or structured finance
- Strong drafting and negotiation experience in secured lending transactions
- Experience representing lenders, borrowers, or agents in complex financing deals
- Exposure to media, entertainment, or IP-backed financing structures (preferred)
- Familiarity with private credit and/or structured finance (ABS) transactions is a plus
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Excellent business judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction
- J.D. required, along with prior experience working in a law firm
