Senior Finance Manager – Corporate Functions

Convenient City Location | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office)

Overview

Our client is a well-established financial services organization expanding its finance leadership team and is adding a Senior Finance Manager to support the internal technology function and select corporate groups. This role will focus on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial partnership across technology and shared services, with exposure to capital planning and investment tracking tied to technology initiatives.

This position will work closely with technology leadership and other functional stakeholders to enhance financial visibility, improve reporting, and support informed decision-making across systems, data, and technology spend within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities for the technology function and supported corporate functions
  • Partner with technology and business leaders on financial planning, cost management, and investment decisions
  • Support aspects of capital accounting related to technology initiatives, including tracking, forecasting, and financial oversight of capitalized projects
  • Enhance and evolve reporting and dashboards, leveraging tools such as Power BI and other BI or financial systems
  • Analyze spend, trends, and variances related to technology and corporate investments
  • Improve financial processes, data quality, and visibility across systems and reporting tools
  • Serve as a strong finance business partner, translating financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Experience supporting a technology function from a finance perspective for a sizable and complex environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including capital vs. expense treatment
  • Strong data, systems, and analytical skills; experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a highly cross-functional, collaborative environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $130,000 – $160,000
  • Annual bonus potential of 15%
  • Above-market 401(k) match

Work Environment

  • Hybrid role with three days per week onsite at a convenient city location
