We have a growing manufacturer based in Queens looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager who's ready to take full ownership of the accounting function. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love a clean close, and know your way around a balance sheet, read on!

Overview:

Lead month-end and year-end close processes from start to finish

Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations

Oversee inventory accounting and costing in a manufacturing environment

Handle accruals, fixed asset accounting, and depreciation schedules

Mentor and manage a small accounting team

Skills & Requirements:

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or a product-based company

Strong command of GAAP and accrual-based accounting

Advanced Excel skills and deep ERP proficiency (SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, or similar)

Comfortable owning the numbers and presenting to leadership

Clear, confident communicator (written and verbal)

CPA license (strongly preferred)

Solid fixed asset management experience
