Mechanical Engineer

Harris & Bruno International (H&B), a printing and spare parts manufacturer, is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and improving industrial equipment and components, working closely with cross-functional teams from concept through production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
• Perform design analysis including stress, tolerance, and thermal considerations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, and project teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation of equipment.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation including BOMs, drawings, and engineering changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve design or production issues.
• Position will require some travel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (modeling, assemblies, drawings)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, welding, etc.)
• Experience with GD&T and engineering documentation standards
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
