Accounting Manager

Our client is a rapidly growing organization that has been providing enrichment programs for more than a decade, serving 35,000 students in 17 states across the country. Their offerings include before/after school and summer camp programs, fun activities and curriculum's and are continuing to add more business to their portfolio. Our client is looking for a progressive accounting professional with a strong focus in accounts payable to join their growing team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to manage a team, handle the entire accounts payable and cash function, as well as be part of mergers & acquisitions as the team grows.

• Lead the company's expense cycle, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all expense accounts
• Handling all cash going out from the company
• Handling large sets of data and ensuring accuracy in create checks
• Manage a team and oversee/approve their work daily
• Work cross-functionally with department leaders to gather necessary cash data
• Participate in the month end close process and working within the general ledger

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA required
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience
• Ability to manage a team and work cross functionally
• Strong system skills, including Excel
