Accounting Analyst

Location - Plano, Texas 75024 (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months

Job description:

• Resolving daily variances related to various system interfaces, clearing exchange requests, daily balancing of cash clearing accounts

Roles and Responsibilities of this role:

• Cash Accounting heavy excel work, identifying and balancing variances, research and analyses of transactions hitting the exchange (cash clearing account); prepare and post journal entries
• Cross train and potentially serve as backup for other team members in the department

Requirements:

Must Haves:

• Accounting experience (5 years minimum)
• Advanced Excel skills (formula across multiple worksheets, vlookup, pivots, etc) Interview questions will lean more on excel skills
• MS Word
• SAP experience
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal); able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Preferred or Nice-to-haves:

• Accounting degree
• Systems Knowledge: Cash Receipt System, Reconnect, Netting System.
