FieldBridge seeks a Quality Associate to work for one of the oldest and most iconic soft drink brands in the United States. This position is based in Spartanburg, SC. Get paid every Friday, plus benefits.

Pay / Schedule:$31/hr. Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Earn weekly paychecks of $1,240/ wk gross.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Q tests, such as moisture, viscosity, particle size, dimensions, conductivity, hardness, weight, seal integrity, etc
  • Partner with on-site quality and operations teams
  • Engage in R&D development and testing
  • Gain knowledge in executing operational plans and projects, including DMS (Daily Management Systems) for day-to-day operations, new equipment startups, and innovative product qualifications
  • Assist with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation and Lean activities, including participation in Continuous Improvement or Kaizen events and developing, implementing and improving autonomous and preventive maintenance workstreams
  • Support daily manufacturing operations to deliver targeted safety, quality, production, and cost results
  • Prepare standard reports/documentation to communicate results to all levels including senior management.
  • Undertake and successfully complete simple or basic project development tasks to include any of the following: writing and/or verifying specifications, maintaining product/process documentation, testing processes, equipment, raw materials and product, and validating equipment and processes.
  • Be a contributor on problem solving, cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Recommend methods for improving efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.•
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Chemistry, or Engineering/Manufacturing (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize requests, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills including excellent listening, written, and verbal abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, be independently driven, and adapt to changes
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
