Key Qualifications:
- EIPA 4.0 certification, or demonstrated fluency as an American Sign Language (ASL) paraprofessional
- Previous experience or comfort providing 1:1 interpreting support in educational settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive rapport with students and staff
- Provide 1:1 sign language interpretation for a 4th grade student in a general education classroom
- Maintain open communication with classroom teachers, staff, and the student's support team
- Assist with clarifying instructional content and classroom assignments, ensuring full student participation
- Adhere to the weekly schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 7:50 AM to 2:15 PM
