Tax Associate (2+ Years) - Multiple Offices
Direct Counsel represents a well-regarded Am Law firm seeking a Tax Associate to join its national Tax practice. Opportunities are available in Atlanta, Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated tax matters involving entity formation, deal structuring, and M&A transactions within a collaborative, growth-oriented team.
What You'll Do:

• Advise on federal tax issues related to entity formation, structuring, and transactions
• Support M&A deals and other complex business transactions from a tax perspective
• Conduct tax research and analysis on sophisticated matters
• Collaborate with corporate and finance teams on deal execution

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of tax experience at a law firm or major accounting firm
• Experience with federal tax issues, entity structuring, and M&A transactions
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred
• Strong analytical, writing, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage complex matters in a fast-paced environment
• J.D. and active bar admission (or eligibility)
