Job Title: Litigation Associate - Insurance Defense

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with experienced partners and senior attorneys
  • Handle all stages of litigation from case initiation through trial
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery documents
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Perform in-depth legal research and provide strategic analysis
  • Manage multiple active litigation files and deadlines
  • Prepare for and support trial and appellate proceedings
  • Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Active member in good standing with the Georgia Bar
  • Admission to courts in Georgia
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil litigation or insurance defense
  • Strong writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced litigation environment
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and critical thinking capabilities
  • A commitment to professional growth and development in civil trial practice
