A school-based opportunity in Seward, NE is available for a Sign Language Interpreter to support a PreK classroom. This part-time contract position requires onsite work and offers a consistent schedule of 3.75 hours per day. The assignment will begin as soon as possible and continue through May 22, 2026.

Qualifications and desired experience include:

• Proficient in sign language interpreting for educational settings
• Experience working with PreK-aged children is preferred
• Ability to work onsite daily
• A valid Sign Language Interpreter license is preferred; candidates holding a provisional license will be considered if their EIPA score is below 4.0

Key responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services to support effective communication between students, teachers, and peers within the classroom
• Facilitate understanding of instructional material and classroom interactions
• Collaborate with classroom staff and other specialists to meet the individual needs of students with hearing impairments
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of work
