Special Education Teacher - Case Manager

Location: Mendota, CA

School Year: 2025-2026 (Remainder of School Year)

We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher for a part-time, school-based case management role in Mendota, CA , beginning May 11, 2026 , and continuing through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year . This is a 12-week assignment averaging approximately 30 hours per week , with the possibility of guaranteed minimum hours and flexibility if full-time coverage becomes necessary.

This position is primarily focused on case management responsibilities , including IEP preparation, documentation, and compliance , rather than classroom instruction.

Position Details

  • Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week

  • Contract Length: 12 weeks (through end of school year)

  • Start Date: May 11, 2026

  • Student Population: TK-1st grade and 4th grade

  • Caseload: Approximately 20 students across two elementary sites

  • Role Type: Case manager (paperwork-heavy, limited direct instruction)

  • Interview: In-person interview required

Responsibilities

  • Manage student IEPs, including preparation, documentation, and compliance

  • Serve as case manager for assigned students across multiple sites

  • Collaborate with school staff and service providers

  • Maintain accurate and timely special education records

  • Utilize SEIS for documentation and reporting

Requirements

  • Active Special Education teaching credential

  • Prior experience serving as an IEP case manager

  • Comfort and proficiency with SEIS required

  • Ability to work through the remainder of the school year

  • Reliable attendance and professionalism

Compensation

  • $45 per hour (local)
